The Belgravia Neighbourhood
Forum
The Belgravia Neighbourhood Forum was established to consult on and develop a neighbourhood plan for the Belgravia area and have this adopted by Westminster City Council as part of its planning guidance framework. This major milestone was achieved in March 2024.
The Belgravia Neighbourhood Plan and its associated Design Codes may be viewed in the Plan section of this website or on Westminster City Council’s website, here.
The specific area covered by the Plan is shown on the area map and has been defined as a residential Neighbourhood Area.
Since 2024 the Forum’s role has been to bring the Plan to life by:
- Emonitoring planning and licensing applications and submitting objections or support as appropriate;
- Eliaising with developers of major projects in the area to ensure they are in line with the policies and objectives of the Plan;
- Emaintaining close relationships with key stakeholders in the area; and
- Eencouraging and supporting appropriate applications for NCIL funded projects in the area which will benefit the local community.
Serving the Belgravia community
The Belgravia Neighbourhood Forum is the statutory body designated by Westminster City Council to represent the local community on planning and residential amenity matters.
Led by a Steering Group of elected volunteers, the Forum was redesignated in 2025 for a further five-year term.
Membership is free!
All residents or workers in the Forum area are warmly encouraged to join as members.
It’s quick and easy to register.
